A faithful reproduction of the sadly missed knifemaker (my friend and colleague) Stephen Wade Cox’s legendary “Bushcraft Pro” knife, Steve spent months co-designing this blade and only a few were ever made. Steve thought this was one of the best knife designs for the Bushcrafter, and I am sure that he would be making this today.
The blade is 5mm thick with an O1 carbon steel blade, heat-treated, tempered and tested to 58HRC. The tang and blade are tapered which benefits the balance and feel of the knife in the hand, this and the unique point design aids the versatility of the cutting edge.
A variety of handle materials is available from hardwood, Micarta, and Corian specified along with fibre or Kydex liners by the client, finished with Loveless bolts or mosaic pins.
To keep the knife safe in the field a 3mm thick vegetable tan sheath with belt loop or neck slots comes as part of the package.
